Greetings, all!
This week we continue Giant Killer with Jonathan and Evram. Last week they came face to face with the arrogance of the Philistine invaders.
Jonathan climbed the remaining distance, scrabbling up with his hands and feet. Evram followed after, his cudgel now serving as a walking staff. Confident in their larger number, the Philistines stood relaxed and loose, watching the two Israelites scale the slope.
The Hebrew prince paused briefly as if to catch his breath. The first of the soldiers, the one who wore no tunic, moved quickly forward, making to grapple with Jonathan. He fell backwards in front of his companions, a startled look in his eyes as Jonathan’s short sword pulled out of his gut, freeing his intestines.
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check out the rest of the loop.
Merry Christmas everybody! ‘Til next time!
